Wojciechowsk, the 20 year old Defenceman from Thunder Bay, Ontario, is the Assistant Captain for the Oil Capitals. He’s a season veteran for the Oil Caps and has been with us for three seasons. In the month of January, he played 12 games and had 11 total points. The highlight of January was when the Caps played against the Winkler Flyers and although they came short by one goal, Jayden had four assists making him the 2nd Star of the Night.
Tyson Ramsey, Head Coach and General Manager of the Oil Capitals was very pleased with Jayden’s efforts and hard work in January. “We are very excited to announce Jayden as our player of the month for January. Jayden is one of our leaders on and off the ice. He competes hard everyday whether it’s a game or a practice or workout day, Jayden is always one of our fiercest competitors. He is a key contributor in all situations and has done a tremendous job mentoring our young defence group. He plays all of his minutes against the opponent’s best, and we are very fortunate to have Jayden in our organization.
